Clinical Trials Projects

This project evaluated a randomized, placebo-controlled Phase 3 clinical trial investigating the effects of high-dose liraglutide (3 mg) on weight loss, body composition, and hormonal and metabolic outcomes in non-diabetic women with obesity and polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS). Our analysis found that liraglutide led to significantly greater weight loss, improved insulin sensitivity, and reduced androgen excess compared to placebo, highlighting its potential as an effective adjunct therapy for PCOS management. Through this review, we strengthened our ability to critically assess clinical trial design, interpret outcomes, and evaluate the quality and limitations of biomedical research. Read more here….
